This site has been up for just over a year now. I would like to thank you for your support since I launched the website and making it the way it is to day. I have tried a few different site designs over the last few months and I would like to thank everybody who gave me their opinion on it. It helped me get the website the way it is today. I hope that the support you all gave me will continue and that you will keep sending in your pictures to add to my website for you. I originally set out to base this site just on cruise liners but then it started to attract other ideas such as emergency services, voluntary services, events and wildlife around the country. I was involved in a group called ‘The Fire Brigade Society’ for a good number of years, which involved going to different fire stations and airports all over the country. I guess that’s where the idea from. I was focased on the Tall Ships that came to Waterford Port in June 2011. The festival started on June 30th and finished on July 3rd. I was focusing on Cruise Liners arriving to Waterford and Cork ports 2011. This year 2012 I will be back taking pictures of cruise liners in both Cork and Waterford.

I will also be focusing on all events. In the distor of the titanic 100 years ago Cobh Co, Cork Ireland held a 100th anniversary of the Titanic’s maiden voyage. I focused on that also. In the year 2012 there is the Spraoi in Waterford City in August which I will be focusing on. The facebook page I have set up will be posting events and cruise liners that are of interest as they happen. If you’re not on my facebook or twitter join because all updates will be posted there.

I am currently setting up a page on my site for history related stories around Ireland. I will be looking into information on the Titanic.
